From high-level soccer player to overwhelmed dad, my journey wasn't always about fitness.
Nine years in a stressful retail job left me burned out, unhealthy, and disconnected from myself. Even after transitioning to a corporate role, new parenthood brought a wave of challenges: poor sleep, desk-bound days, and a growing 'dad bod' that left me feeling lost and distant from my wife, Rachel. Hiring a coach and prioritizing my well-being was a game-changer – a tough but rewarding experience that showed me the power of self-care, not as selfishness, but as a crucial step toward becoming the best version of myself for my family. Witnessing Rachel's parallel transformation fuelled our shared passion to help other busy parents reclaim their health and rediscover their strength. Now, as co-founders of Strong Fams, Rachel and I are driven to empower families worldwide by equipping parents with the tools and support they need to thrive.
Nutrition Coach
My journey to becoming a health and fitness coach wasn't a linear one. From a young age, I struggled with weight and yo-yo dieting, experiencing the emotional toll of body image issues and the frustration of temporary results.
Even after achieving weight loss, underlying health challenges like chronic fatigue and hormonal imbalances persisted. Motherhood brought new layers of complexity, highlighting the need for sustainable practices that balanced self-care with family demands.
My personal transformation, including overcoming fertility challenges and achieving strong & healthy pregnancies, fuelled my passion to empower other mothers and parents.
As a co-founder of Strong Fams, I blend my lived experience with evidence-based knowledge to guide families toward lasting health and well-being, proving that a thriving parent creates a thriving family

After signing up you will be prompted to book your initial goal setting consult with your coach of choice via zoom. This call helps us learn more about you, so you can be positioned for success.
Initial Goal Setting Consult
Once the consult is booked in, you'll be invited to complete detailed questionnaire to complete before the consult, so we can learn more about your, your health, lifestyle & goals and be prepared for the call.
Start Coaching
After your initial consult is complete we'll need a few days to create your custom nutrition protocol strategy and your training program to begin weekly coaching the following Monday via our Strong Fams app.

Since coaching with Strong Fams I've learnt so much about nutrition and how it works which is a game changer. Having the tools and knowledge of how nutrition works and how to calculate calories and food choices is so powerful. While our group programs/challenges like Thriving Forward offer a structured plan for a group of participants, 1:1 coaching provides a much more fully personalized approach & experience. Every aspect of your fitness, nutrition, lifestyle and progress is tailored to your specific goals, challenges, and lifestyle each and every week. It’s like having a coach in your corner 100% of the time, who focuses solely on YOU and adjusts your plan as you evolve.
Yes! All of our 1:1 coaching clients receive many examples of flexible meal plans designed to fit your goals, preferences, and lifestyle. We create meal plans tailored to your goals, accommodating dietary restrictions, food allergies, and personal preferences.
Not necessarily! Depending on your goals & accessibility, your training plan can be designed for home workouts, gym sessions, or a mix of both—whatever works best for your schedule and access to equipment.
You don't HAVE to do anything you're not comfortable doing - however if possible we'd love to show you how calorie counting can be an empowering tool (when used correctly).
But, whilst calorie tracking can be a helpful tool for some, it’s not required.
We’ll work with you to find an approach that fits your lifestyle and preferences, whether that’s tracking, mindful eating, portion control, or another method.
The goal is to create sustainable habits that lead to long-term success.
You will formally check in with your coach weekly via our built in check in form that is set & prompted automatically inside your Strong Fams app access.
You will be required to respond to a series of questions each week that summarise your week. Your coach will then review key biometrics such as body metrics (weight, measurements and photos),sleep duration + quality, stress levels, exercise progression, along with several other important health markers.
You can also choose to submit videos of your lifts to your coach for feedback on your form and technique.
You will receive a video reply from your coach each week, discussing the best strategy for you going forward and provide support and accountability.
Outside of the formal check ins, you have a private chat box with your coach in the app too.
We track your progress through metrics such as weight, measurements, progress photos, strength gains/training program data, and habit changes. Your coach will review your results regularly and adjust your plan as needed.
